PANEL PLEDGE TO SUPPORT
BRITISH COACHES
The tenniscoachUK advisory panel held its inaugural meeting in Warwick last week and pledged to focus its efforts to develop and promote our organisation, actively support British coaches at all levels of the game and support the governing body in promoting and developing British tennis.

The three hour meeting was attended by (pictured from left to right): Paul Bradfield, Jim Edgar, Suzi Riley. Mike Walker, David Felgate, Euann McGinn, Alan Jones, Jo Durie, Jayant Mistry (front), Steve McLoughlin, Martin Weston, Keith Reynolds, Mark Cox, Charles Applewhaite and John Willis.
"it was an incredibly positive meeting and demonstrated a real desire by those present to ensure that tenniscoachUK plays a very active part in enhancing the opportunities for coaches at all levels of the game and thereby play an important part in transforming the fortunes of British tennis" said Mike Lynch, who opened the meeting by reiterating the desire of the organisation to be seen as a very positive influence on the game.
Work has already begun on the Strategic Review document that will be the first practical contribution to come from the panel. The review will provide a blueprint for the organisation to continue its transformation into an indispensible support network for tennis coaches.

All members will be given ample opportunity to contribute to the review before it is publicly released in June.
