LEADING COACHES JOIN
ADVISORY PANEL

Jeremy Bates, Jo Durie, David Felgate, Alan Jones and Mike Walker are the latest coaches to join the BTCA advisory panel which will have its first summit meeting in March.
The new advisory panel will provide the BTCA board with expert advice, opinion and proposals to enable the BTCA to develop its influence on the direction coaching should take in the UK.
The panel will be chaired by Mark Cox and Charles Applewhaite and further appointments will be made in the coming weeks to ensure that we have as many of the UK's leading coaches playing an active role in shaping the direction of the BTCA.
We are in the process of filming interviews with all of the panel members so that members can listen to the thoughts and opinions of our key coaches on a wide range of subjects affecting UK coaches, including:
- Growing the game in the UK
- The role of the LTA in performance tennis
- The LTA blueprint
- Competition and the competition framework
- Communication
- Mentoring
- The club structure in the UK
