ROADSHOW DELAYED
Late changes to the LTA Licence Credit Authorisation policy have resulted in a delay to the start of the 2008 BTCA Roadshow.

The roadshow was due to start next week in Staffordshire but will not now start until April when the Roadshow visits Scotland. The twenty two events scheduled between now and April are being rearranged and the new dates will be published as soon as possible.
The changes to the criteria made by the LTA Coach Education departrment for awarding licence credits now require training providers to submit applications " at least 6 weeks prior to advertising the course publicly". The timing of the notification of the changes meant we had little choice but to now wait until the roadshow application has been resubmitted to the LTA and approved under the new scheme conditions.
We apologies for the inconvenience this will cause coaches and we will ensure that all coaches who have already booked are notified personally of the postponements. We are fully committed to continuing to provide our members with the very best training resources and look forward to seeing you all at a roadshow later in the year.
